Brenda Pinnell is owner, chief artist and canopener at HepCatz Design based in Charleston, W.Va. She credits her offbeat world view to a long career in visual journalism, a love of children's books, the Food Network and the cats who live with her as reluctant models and inspiration.
When not drawing badly-behaved cats, she is an award-winning graphic designer and Tamarack artist.
