My first art exhibit was on the walls of my childhood home. After retirement from teaching, I am now turning my attention to my lifelong passion for art. Painting has become a meditation on the present moment; it is allowing me to return to the trusting, inquisitive, and playful child I once was, before life experiences stole the purity of that early creative energy. Through large gestural movements and an exploration of color, the process of painting has become my life's guide.
