Impassioned by nature and the art of visual storytelling, my work emerges through my exploration of rich histories and then creating art that honors people and place. I center my 2D and 3D works on a variety of topics pertaining to Appalachian history and the appreciation and preservation of our diverse wildlife including regional foliage. I often draw inspiration from my own experiences after growing up in a frequently exploited region in the Kanawha Valley also known as "Chemical Valley".
