Anna Dickson James earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte, teaches English at Garrett College, and writes fiction and nonfiction. Her work has appeared in Anthology of Appalachian Writers, Golden Seal Magazine, and the anthology The Groovy Chick's Road Trip to Love. She was a finalist for the West Virginia Fiction Prize and has earned several first and second place awards in short fiction, book length fiction, and poetry from WV Writer's, Inc.
