Erin is a poet, writer and journalist. She often writes about Appalachia, social problems, trauma, and addiction, but also about hope and resilience. She was a staff writer for The Exponent Telegram, the Charleston Gazette-Mail and The Register-Herald. Her poetry was featured in Goldenseal magazine. She also performs spoken word poetry.
