My work is inspired by feelings and memories based around a certain time and place that go back to childhood. Works created from these memories and feelings help process, understand, and get past points in life that before seemed impossible. I create a range of functional, decorative, and sculptural ceramic pieces. I utilized slab construction, glazing, and sgraffito to complete these works. I enjoy using color, line, and pattern within my pieces to create contrast.
