Independent Contractor Position
 

FestivALL is seeking a Part-Time Program Coordinator to support Amplify ALL Art Classes, a collaborative initiative between FestivALL and Arts Amplified that provides free, high-quality arts education opportunities for youth impacted by addiction. Through classes in visual arts, music, creative writing, theater, dance, and other creative disciplines, the program connects young people with professional teaching artists in welcoming community spaces where they can build skills, confidence, and meaningful connections.

The Program Coordinator will work closely with FestivALL and Arts Amplified, along with teaching artists, host sites, community partners, and participating families, to coordinate and deliver Amplify ALL Art Classes.
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and secure locations to host Amplify ALL Art Classes.

  • Coordinate meetings with prospective host sites and manage facility logistics.

  • Collaborate with selected teaching artists to develop class budgets, supply lists, and material needs.

  • Coordinate the purchasing, organization, and distribution of program supplies and materials.

  • Manage participant registration, enrollment, class rosters, and waitlists.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Arts Amplified, FestivALL, teaching artists, host sites, community partners, and participating families, ensuring clear communication among all program stakeholders.

  • Communicate schedules, program updates, and logistical information to instructors, host sites, parents/guardians, and community partners.

  • Develop relationships with local recovery organizations, treatment providers, AA/NA groups, schools, and other referral partners to promote the program and distribute registration information.

  • Monitor enrollment and assist with outreach efforts to ensure strong participation.

  • Coordinate class logistics and provide support to instructors throughout each semester.

  • Collect attendance records, participant information, evaluations, and other required program data.

  • Compile and submit program documentation and outcome data to Arts Amplified to support grant reporting and program evaluation.

  • Assist with general administrative duties and other tasks necessary to ensure the successful implementation of the program.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience coordinating programs, events, or educational activities.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with community organizations, families, and teaching artists.

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with multiple partners.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive) and general office software.

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to program sites within the Charleston area.
     

Compensation

This is a part-time independent contractor position administered through FestivALL.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and available grant funding.
 

Schedule & Time Commitment

Estimated workload averages approximately 15-20 hours per week over the course of the year, with hours fluctuating based on program needs. Applicants should expect a greater time commitment during program planning, instructor onboarding, and registration periods, with fewer hours required while classes are in session
