Sharon Harms - Artist Statement
As an artist, I work diligently to capture the wonder of the natural world around us. Sometimes the inspiration is based on a cherished memory and sometimes it is a spontaneous reaction to an inspiration or moment that presents itself.
With careful, colorful strokes, I attempt to accentuate the highlights, patterns, colors and compositions that are most impressive within the subject and bring my observations to the attention of the viewer.
