City Center at Slack Plaza is the capital city's newest outdoor venue and the home of City Center Live!
City Center Live offers up a unique blend of entertainment and programs highlighting Charleston's local talent.
Bring a lawn chair, or take advantage of the breezy swinging benches that border City Center's lush green space and enjoy local music, food trucks, and family friendly events throughout the summer months.
All events are free and open to everyone.
Parking in the Summers Street Parking Garage located directly across the street from City Center at Slack Plaza is free Monday–Friday after 5pm, and all day Saturday and Sunday. The same goes for the Park Place Parking Garage at the cross section of Washington Street and Summers Street. Metered street parking is available throughout downtown Charleston.
